Your tools.
Your device.

The tools run in your browser without an account. Most tool readings stay on your device. Nearby landmarks and internet speed tests need external requests, as explained below.

Your tally

The tally counter stores its name, count, and recent changes in your browser's local storage. This lets you return to your tally on the same device and browser. We do not receive this data. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Motion sensors

The compasses and bubble level read your device's orientation and available compass sensors only after you start the tool and grant access where required. Those readings are processed on your device and aren't sent to us. The basic compass and bubble level don't request your location. None of the tools requests your camera.

Ruler and timing settings

The ruler, interval timer and metronome can save calibration or preferences in this browser's local storage. These settings aren't sent to us. Clear this site's browser data to remove them.

Microphone test

The microphone test asks for microphone access only after you choose to start. The sound meter and optional five-second recording run locally. Audio isn't uploaded to our servers or to another service. Stop or leave the page to release the microphone; temporary recordings are discarded when you leave.

Photo protractor

Photos you choose are opened and measured in your browser. They are not uploaded to us or another service, or saved in this site's browser storage. Choosing Save creates a marked image for you to download. Remove the photo or leave the page to release the tool's temporary image data.

Photo colour picker, big text and scoreboard

The photo colour picker opens and samples photos locally without uploading or saving them. Copied colour codes go to your clipboard only when you choose Copy. Big text keeps your message in page memory; it is not uploaded or saved by the tool. The scoreboard saves team names, scores and settings in this browser's local storage so you can resume a game. Clear this site's browser data to remove them.

Speaker, screen and touch tests

The speaker test generates tones on your device without using your microphone. The screen test displays colours and tracks pointer movements within its test area. Audio settings, touch paths, and test results are not sent to us or saved as a test history.

Internet speed test

After you choose Start, this tool downloads and uploads test payloads directly between your browser and Cloudflare's speed-test endpoints. Cloudflare receives your IP address and request information to process the test. We disable the measurement engine's optional per-measurement and final-result logging. We do not save a test history or send readings to our analytics.

A normal test schedules up to 49.4 MB of payload; network overhead and rate-limit retries can add data. Cancel or leave the page to stop the test. See Cloudflare's speed-test information and privacy policy for the service's practices.

Nearby landmark location

The nearby landmark compass asks for your location only when you choose to find places near you. You can decline the browser's permission request. It uses your coordinates to calculate the direction and distance of nearby places, and does not save your location in browser storage.

To find those places, the tool sends rounded coordinates and your chosen search radius to a service running on Cloudflare. Repeated identical searches can be reused in page memory for five minutes; this memory is cleared when you leave the tool. The service returns catalogue results and may request extra landmark data from OpenStreetMap through an Overpass API provider for sparse searches up to 25 km. The provider receives the rounded search area from our service, rather than a direct request from your browser. Your compass heading stays on your device.

Coordinates sent for searches are rounded to 0.01 degrees, roughly a kilometer. Search results for that rounded area can be cached for 24 hours. Cloudflare and the data provider process requests under their own practices. Our current provider is Private.coffee Overpass (terms and privacy). Also see the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy for OpenStreetMap services.

Hosting

Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. Like other web hosting services, it processes connection information, such as your IP address and browser request details, to serve pages and help prevent abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its practices.

Ads and analytics

This version has no advertising. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits and page performance through a script delivered by Cloudflare. It does not use analytics cookies or browser storage to identify you. Learn more about Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Google Analytics is on by default without a permission prompt, unless you previously turned it off in this browser. It uses first-party cookies to measure visits, page use, and broad traffic sources. Google also processes connection and browser information and can derive a coarse location, such as country or region, from your IP address. Granular location and device collection, advertising personalization, and Google signals are disabled. We send page addresses without query strings or fragments, and only the website origin for external referring links.

When Google Analytics is on, we record a tool_use event after your first meaningful use of a tool on a page visit. It contains only the tool's public identifier and page address, alongside Google's normal visit information. For example, it records that you used the scoreboard, without recording the teams or scores. It is not a count of every tap or a guarantee that a task was completed. We do not replay uses that happened while analytics was off.

We do not send messages, team names, scores, selected colour values, tally names, count values, compass headings, motion readings, coordinates entered into our tools, microphone audio, photos, measured angles, touch paths, speaker settings, or speed-test readings to analytics. Automatic form, search, outbound-link, video, and download tracking are disabled. Visiting alone does not record an analytics preference. If you use the controls below, your choice is saved in this browser's local storage and does not affect how the tools work. Previously saved refusals remain in effect.

You can turn analytics off below. This stops new Google Analytics collection from this browser and removes its analytics cookies on this website; it does not erase data already collected. Clearing this site's browser storage removes your saved preference and restores the default setting on a later visit. Cloudflare Web Analytics continues independently. For Google's practices, see Google's privacy policy and how Google Analytics safeguards data.
