Type a message, choose a colour, then tap Display text sign. The words grow to fit the available screen. Rotate your phone for a wider sign. Tap Edit message or press Escape to return.
How does scrolling work?
Turn on Scroll before showing your sign. Tap Speed to cycle between Normal, Fast (twice as fast) and Slow (half speed). You can change the speed while the sign is displayed without restarting the message. Longer messages move from start to end and back, with a pause at each end. Use Pause scrolling to stop the movement. Changing speed keeps a paused sign paused. Messages that already fit stay still. Scrolling is disabled when your device requests reduced motion. Nothing flashes.
How do I make the words even bigger?
Keep your message short and turn your phone sideways. Line breaks are preserved in the normal fitted display; scrolling uses a single line. The optional Full screen button can hide browser controls where supported. The sign works without it.
Will the screen stay awake?
This tool does not change your device’s screen timeout or brightness. Adjust those in your device settings if you need to hold the sign up for longer.
Is my message saved or sent anywhere?
Your message stays in this page’s memory. The tool does not upload it, save it to browser storage, or put it in a share link. Reloading or leaving the page clears it. Site analytics can count use of the tool but do not include your words. See our privacy page.
